Hello, My name is James Long and I am a licensed Health, Life, and Annuities Agent in the state of Pennsylvania. I am originally from upstate New York and spent some of my childhood in Southern California, but I’ve lived in the Philadelphia region for over 13 years now. In early 2006, I finally met “Ms. Right”, Teri and I were married in April of 2008. We hope to be blessed with a child (or children) in the not too distant future. After a long career of managing multi-unit businesses I made a change that would allow me to focus on what I enjoyed most about my work - helping customers with a service they need and developing long standing relationships.

For years I experienced first-hand my employees’ confusion about their health insurance benefits and I would help them the best I could to understand it all. It was then that I realized how much all people needed independent assistance and consultation in regards to such an important, yet misunderstood necessity. My experiences in this field have been so rewarding that I believe I have found the last job I will ever have. When I am not working, I often travel to see family and friends all over the country. In the summer, I spend most weekends “down the shore” and try to fit in a round of golf when possible. When there’s snow, I attempt to relive my youth on the ski slopes once or twice a season. I truly feel that I’ve found a “home” at Young's Insurance Services, Inc. because they have the same values I do: always look out for your customer, be available when they need help, and stay true to your word.
