Any “Sales Job” is tough to thrive in, period. However, looking at the Insurance industry we see a need and in many cases, an opportunity to provide lower cost options for a product which is already being used. Other products or services in today’s economy are just too difficult to sell, plus there are no “residuals”. Income is solely based on the initial sale and referrals, with no renewal commissions building. The real estate market goes up and down, vehicle sales with gas prices are just about impossible, extras such as time shares or travel packages are just a plain old tough sale now with so many internet travel packages available today. A Broker can supply many insurance products, from many companies, to a variety of individuals or groups. A Broker, unlike a “Captured Agent” works on behalf of the client to help find the “right fit” depending on the health, age and zip code of potential clients. A “Captured Agent” works for an individual insurance company and in most cases can only sell that company’s products making it difficult to customize the perfect plan options.


Why work for a “Brokerage Agency” instead of working as an “Independent Broker”?

Working with a Brokerage provides a means to train, receive up to date supplies and, on the whole, gain higher commissions than the “street level” which most independents contract at.
