How It All Started...

Young's Insurance Services Inc. is a registered, licensed health and life insurance brokerage agency co-owned and operated by Daniel J. and Antoinette M. Young. We service PA, NJ, AND SC. Over a decade ago, at a small gathering, insurance came up in a conversation. A relative mentioned we both had the perfect personality and attention to detail that an insurance agent would require. The following week, that same relative introduced to a personal friend and mentor of his who ran an agency out of Lancaster, PA. It felt right so we made the move and switched careers.

After educating and licensing took place, we spent the next several years gaining a working knowledge of the insurance world. Working as captured agents for one company, however it left us feeling ill equipped to service a more diverse set of needs for our clients. Looking to expand our client base as well as our product portfolio is what led us to the formation of this brokerage agency.

Here we are years later, working with a wonderful group of people, to provide the best insurance choices available to individuals of all ages. With our focus on growth and customer "one-stop-shop" convenience, we are always looking for new ways to add to our portfolio. We are proud to say that, as an agency, we have continued to provide the personal, old fashioned, one on one in home agent service that has become part of our reputation.

Why the name "Young's Insurance Services Inc. " and not a corporate sounding title such as APEX or PINACLE or any one of a hundred other variations? The simple truth is that in today's day and age of "home computer" businesses, while a generic yet important sounding name may allude to a larger than life company, it very well may not be. Certain titles can be evasive and non-personal, basically, a dime a dozen form of advertising. Any company that attaches their personal name to a business takes pride and responsibility in the service or products they provide. We are proud of who we are, what we offer and the personal style we offer it. There is a history of strength and growth here, a face to a name.

Our Goal

The agency's goal is to provide quality customer service and top rated products in a family style atmosphere. We present healthcare and financial choices, while trying to create long lasting relationships with all of our clients. As market advisors, we put together plans that are individualized from a variety of company choices. Changes in the market are constant and rapid. Through efforts such as our T.E.A.M. approach (Total Evaluation And Maintenance) our agents regularly monitor and discuss changes, which allows us to prepare the best course of action available each year. Soon we hope to expand our services to include Property and Casualty, and Reverse Mortgages.

What We Do

Along with providing insurance products, Young's has developed close relationships with many doctor offices, healthcare providers, pharmacies, senior centers and retirement communities all across Pennsylvania.

Aside from hosting many informational healthcare seminars, we have also volunteered countless hours in many kiosks and booths. We frequently can be found at a wide range of stores and pharmacies. At those locations, we provide assistance by answering questions for Medicare recipients with their health insurance and prescription needs. We have also helped guide many seniors to programs, which would enable them to receive nursing care in their homes, should they need it, while maintaining financial stability.

With the agency's expansion, we have become more involved in assisting small business owners, by offering a more varied portfolio of insurance options and investment opportunities. Employers now have alternatives such as Health Savings Accounts (HSA's) and high deductible plans to offer to their employees. Group dental, long term care and life insurance are now affordable products even for the smallest of groups. Also, in an effort to assist these small businesses on a more personal level, we try to patron them ourselves for any services or supplies our agency may need.
